TSMC evaluates Texas chip plant in US expansion

TSMC is evaluating a potential investment in Texas to expand chip production in the US, two sources familiar with the matter said.
The potential Texas investment would be additional to the $265 billion TSMC has already committed to Arizona, one source said.
TSMC's current and planned Arizona projects include 12 facilities and an R&D centre.
