Nvidia-led rally lifts most Asian markets

Asian shares were mostly higher after Nvidia and other technology stocks led an advance on Wall Street.
The regional move was uneven: Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 0.8%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 0.3%, Taiwan’s Taiex climbed 1%, and South Korea’s Kospi fell 1%.
Markets were awaiting a speech by Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh for signals on U.S. monetary policy.
