Qatar extends LNG force majeure as Hormuz disruption persists

Asian spot LNG rose to $23.388 per million British thermal units as concerns over the Strait of Hormuz continued.
QatarEnergy notified Pakistani buyers that LNG cargo cancellations will continue into October and extended force majeure on Bangladesh supplies beyond September.
The disruption affects LNG deliveries to European and Asian buyers and delays the restoration of Persian Gulf energy flows.
