Brazil’s Pix moves toward a first cross-border payments link

Brazil’s central bank and the ECB are studying a link between their instant-payment systems, positioning Pix for its first cross-border expansion.
The ECB identified Pix as a currency corridor under exploration for TIPS in June.
Brazil’s central bank signed Pix information-sharing accords with 65 foreign counterparts in July.
