Southwest revamps frequent-flier program and names Icon Lounge with Chase

Southwest made major frequent-flier program changes in the week before Oct. 16, 2026, as United made similar changes.
Southwest unveiled the name Icon Lounge for airport lounges it is developing with Chase.
The first Icon Lounge is expected to open late next year in Nashville.
Southwest did not disclose details of the new premium Chase credit card that will provide access to the lounges.
