Gore Street pushes back on Saba wind-down bid
  • Gore Street's board said an accelerated wind-down could force asset sales at unfavorable valuations and weaken negotiations with buyers.
  • The fund is targeting GBP25 million of disposals this year and GBP75 million next year, alongside annual distributions of 7 pence per share and selected battery-storage project augmentations.
  • The company said battery-storage revenues have fallen to roughly GBP7.50-GBP8 per megawatt-hour from GBP22-GBP23 several years ago, but argued that conditions are near a cyclical low.
