Enbridge postponed the 250,000-barrel-per-day second phase of its Mainline crude pipeline expansion.

Enbridge postponed Mainline phase two, which was designed to add 250,000 barrels per day of crude-export capacity from Western Canada to U.S. refineries.
The company is prioritizing a 100,000-barrel-per-day Flanagan South Expansion and a 50,000-barrel-per-day Southern Access Extension.
Enbridge has already committed to Mainline phase one, adding 150,000 barrels per day with service targeted by 2027.
