Tesla opened paid Cybercab rides in Austin this week with no steering wheel or pedals, and the Robotaxi app took the #1 Travel spot from Uber. Traders are repricing both names on early fare undercuts versus a tiny ~45-unit Cybercab fleet and an NHTSA self-certification audit that landed the same week.
BullCybercab already beats Uber on price and product, and demand is outrunning supply. Austin waits hit 50-plus minutes for unsupervised rides, and Musk's scale target is 20–40 cents per mile versus about $1.70 for Uber and Lyft.
BearA few dozen Cybercabs and an NHTSA probe do not threaten Uber's network. App-store #1 counts downloads, not trips, and Tesla still has roughly 45 Cybercabs against Uber's tens of millions of daily rides.

@Mr_DerivativesTesla Robotaxi app just claimed the #1 Travel spot from Uber
Bear evidence
@PolitiRealityTesla registered only 40 Robotaxis — years late and nearly a million short of the fleet bulls price in
@CorgiX_OfficalRobotaxi app #1 means little with ~420 Texas AVs and just 45 Cybercabs while Uber sits ~26% off its 52-week high — watch rides, not downloads
Context
@amitisinvestingBoth extremes are wrong: Cybercab threatens Uber's moat, but Uber's 200M+ monthly users and 42M daily rides still matter while unsupervised autonomy scales
