Centalion buys Silver Hill's Haynesville natural gas assets

  • Centalion Group acquired upstream and midstream natural gas assets in the Haynesville region of Texas and Louisiana from Texas-based private shale producer Silver Hill Energy Partners.
  • The acquired position carries about 300 MMcfd of net production, roughly 72,000 net acres in the core Haynesville and Bossier development areas, and about 300 gross operated development locations.
  • Centalion, formerly known as Gunvor and rebranded last week, puts the Haynesville platform's enterprise value at about $2 billion and plans to redomicile its headquarters to Singapore from Cyprus.
