Boeing nears Ethiopian freighter order for new African hub

Ethiopian Airlines is nearing a deal for up to 10 long-haul Boeing freighters as it advances plans for a new African hub.
The prospective order is expected to include two current-generation 777F aircraft, with the remainder linked to Boeing's delayed 777-8F freighter model.
The hub is intended to strengthen Ethiopian Airlines' position against Gulf carriers.
