ASTS Wall Street split pits $115 against $54

X discussion7 hours ago

AST SpaceMobile fell about 9% after Piper Sandler cut the stock to Neutral with a $54 target, one day after Deutsche Bank upgraded it to Buy at $93 and Clear Street reiterated Buy at $115. Traders are pricing a direct clash over SpaceX competition, launch cadence, and whether Ligado spectrum already covers most of the enterprise value.

BullAST SpaceMobile is cheap relative to its spectrum and still leads SpaceX in direct-to-cell timing. Deutsche Bank values the Ligado lease at about $19B against a $23B enterprise value, and Clear Street keeps a $115 Buy while calling AST roughly six months ahead of SpaceX.

BearAST SpaceMobile depends on a rival for launch capacity while SpaceX buys its own spectrum. Piper Sandler cut to Neutral at $54 on weaker conviction in 2026–2027 BlueBird launches after SpaceX’s roughly $8B 800 MHz deal.
