Anthropic commits to $35 billion Texas AI cloud buildout

Anthropic agreed to a cloud-computing contract worth $35 billion with Lambda, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The project is being developed in Nueces County, Texas, by AI data-center company Hut 8 and is planned to provide about 350 megawatts of capacity.
Lambda is backed by Nvidia, and the deal reinforces the ongoing buildout of computing capacity for AI workloads.
